Eat More Chicken
There aren’t many businesses that are closed on Sundays anymore, especially a fast food business. Chick-Fil-A remains closed on Sundays pushing against today’s trend to expand hours as businesses try and stay afloat in this economic depression we are
in the middle of.
.
Today I saw a TV report, then read several articles about Chick-Fil-A being attacked for their Christian culture. They have been kicked off a college campus and are getting heat from gay advocacy groups for supplying food to a conference called “The art of Marriage: Getting to the Heart of God’s Design”. I have been to several leadership conferences that Chick-Fil-A staff presented principles they operate by. Solid business principles, and yes, solid Christian principles. They are not ashamed, but “their chicken’s sign” says “eat mor chikin”, not anti-gay slogans. They have carried high their principles in a strong non-demonstrative manner.
I for one intend to stand behind this company and support their right as a private enterprise based on Christian principles. I am going to eat more chicken, how about you?
