Almost free books
This past Saturday we went to the weekly Friends of the Library sale. The sale takes place on Saturdays, from 9 a.m. – Noon at the University Park Library (south end), 3435 University Blvd N. During these weekly sales you can buy books for $1 – $2 and paper backs for .50. The super deal is you can load as many books as you can get into a grocery bag and they will
cost you $10. I got 25 books in my bag. There are more books than you can imagine to pick through. If you’re looking for kid books, they got them, non-fiction, fiction, yesterdays best sellers, table after table and shelf after shelf loaded with books. All monies, goes to the Friends of the Library, fjpl.org, and they turn around and buy stuff for the Library. It’s really cool and an incredible buy.
It’s nice to find a good deal in today’s world, and this is a good deal. Tell a friend.
